illustrated recipe

a project for my visual design systems class. the objective of this project was to illustrate either a recipe for a dish special to us, such as a family recipe, or a map of a location special to us, such as our hometown or our family’s country of origin. i chose to illustrate the recipe of my favorite soup that my mom makes whenever i’m home. along with illustrating all parts of the piece ourselves, we also had to fit the composition within an armature to create better flow and emphasis.

the final project is 16.7”x6.25” 300dpi. all illustrations were done by me in procreate 2024 with photoshop 2024 used to add additional text.
