social awareness poster

a project for my intro to graphic design class. the objective of this project was to choose a social justice topic that was important to us and create a poster to spread awareness about said topic. we could use any medium we wanted as long as the final composition was 11” x 17” vertical orientation with 0.5” margins. we had to include a headline, a call-to-action, the logo of the social justice organization we were creating the poster for, and a website link/qr code/phone number for that organization.

the social justice topic i chose to make a poster for was preserving america’s national parks. i chose the us national parks service as my organization.

the poster is 11” x 17” with 0.5” margins. the original art was illustrated by me in procreate 2024, and the text, border, logo, and url were added by me in photoshop 2024.
